If your application wants to have the ‘Works with Windows Vista’ sticker on it, your application must use Windows Installer according to test case 11. Windows Installer is a miserable piece of crap compared to Inno Setup. Unfortunately, Microsoft says your application MUST use Windows Installer to be certified. Some companies even resorted to unofficial stickers.
